The Arcade Restoration Process

The inside of each cabinet is cleaned and “shop vac'd” out.

All items in the cabinet are tied or bolted down.
Step

Each monitor is cleaned and completely rebuilt! (new capacitors,
transistors and flyback transformer when necessary.)
Step
4:
The monitor is adjusted for correct brightness level and degaussed.
Step
5:
All power supplies are checked for proper voltage distribution.
Power supplies that do not meet original factory specs are rebuilt or
replaced.
Step
6:
All joysticks and controls are cleaned, rebuilt and replaced as necessary.
Step
7:
All contact switches are cleaned, adjusted, and replaced if necessary.
Step
8:
Control panels and cabinet exterior is cleaned and detailed.
Step
9:
The game board (PCB) is fully tested.
Step
10:
Each game is play tested to make sure its working and playing
properly... We really like this part!
Step
11:
Game is “burned in”. We do this to ensure all components are
working properly by leaving the game on for several hours.
Note:
Some games have reproduced artwork available (Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga,
Donkey Kong to name a few.) While every game we sell is restored
using the above 11-Step process, we can make your game look almost like it
was just shipped from the factory!
We do this by installing new
Control Panel Overlays, Monitor Underlays, graphic arts material,
detailing jobs, etc. Please call for availability and pricing.
