Reasons We Like This Game: Engineered by the "Tour de Force" designers of the day, Joe Kaminkow designed well known "serious" titles like Guns N Roses, Batman, Batman Forever, Jurassic Park, Apollo 13, The Simpsons, etc. What makes this game so incredible is the artwork and the playability. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will always fit in any game room... It looks superb, and kids and adults love to play it! Coincidentally, Kevin O’ Connor and Paul Faris are two of the top pinball artists of all time. You'll find their artwork in Kiss, Centaur, Monster Bash, etc. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles really was a who's who of talent for the day (and still is!)

Mechanically, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has a little bit of everything for everyone... Three inbound lanes, twelve stationary targets, three jet bumpers, a spinner, two ramps, a kickback, one ball ejector, a spinning disc, and two multi ball modes! (2 ball and 3 ball) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles combines a lot of simple shots with hard shots, so while it keeps the interest of kids, it was also designed with more experienced players in mind too.

Special Features: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is one of the first dot matrix pinball machines made by Data East. Prior to 1991 games did not have animation sequences and had only alpha numeric four player scoring. The artwork by Kevin O’ Connor and Paul Faris is simply divine in this game... all the colors are vibrant and well defined. Did you see the spinning disc? During certain modes the disc spins and randomly moves the balls around. It's a really neat feature and only a handful of games have ever used this! (Whirlwind and Twister had a spinning disc).

The playfield layout is really well done... Shots are both easy and long. They are executed well and include a nice variety. The game has all the turtle characters on the playfield and there's always something going on or fun to look at in this game! A great addition to any game room, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is filled with all sorts of surprise and delight features for players of all ages!
