Reasons We Like This Game:  Star Trek The Next Generation is probably Steve Ritchie’s best work. He’s a designer from the late 70s… some of his classic games include Black Knight, Black Knight 2000, High Speed, Getaway, etc. Who can resist the Star Trek theme? All of the bridge characters are in this game (Capt. Picard, Conselor Troi, Beverly Crusher, Data, William Riker, etc., even the Borg!).  It’s a wide body pinball – so there’s more playfield playing area than a standard pinball. It features wonderful ball flow and non stop action,  and is a very complicated and challenging game!

There’s many modes that need to be accomplished to keep the Universe safe from the Borg, and yes, there’s actually a Borg multi ball! Once you complete all the modes you fight for the “Final Frontier” which is an awesome, all out 6-ball multi ball! There’s 2 video modes, including playing poker with William Riker! There’s 3 hard ramp shots that keep you on your toes, and even a Cardassian and Romulan multi ball. There’s a "Q" challenge where you must hit targets to defeat Q. The sound effects will blow you away, as this is one top notch game!  If this isn't enough, there’s 2 cannons that you control that allow you to launch the ball into the air and shoot at objects on the playfield! COOL!!

Special Features:  Star Trek The Next Generation is the ONLY game ever created with 2 user controllable cannons that allow the player to launch the ball! It's also one of the few games created with a 6-ball multi ball - most games only have  3 or 4. The game has incredible sound effects and music. It includes the voices of all the bridge characters (Capt. Picard, Conselor Troi, Beverly Crusher, Data, William Riker, etc). Not to mention Q, the Romulans, Cardassians, the Borg, and the Klingons. In our opinion, it’s the ultimate Trekkie collectable and one of our favorite games to play. Its one of the few wide body pinball games created – that means the playfield is about 2.5” wider than a standard pinball game and gives you more surface area for the ball to roll around on. The game has a fairly open playfield with a lot of long shots…sound effects are unbelievable!  It’s a good game for beginner or more advanced players. It’s a very hard game to master and complete so you'll have fun with it for years to come.

As with all of our pinball games, we have installed the latest rom version.  Revision LA-7.
