Reasons We Like This Game:  Junk Yard is Barry Oursler’s last pinball with Williams, as Williams closed its doors on pinball 4 years later in 2000. Unfortunately, it was probably his best work yet!  (Barry Ousler also created classics like Dirty Harry, JackBot and Pinbot.)  Junk Yard features wonderful ball flow and non stop action from start to finish!  You make certain shots to collect junk, (it's pretty hilarious what some of the junk is) and you use the junk to build bigger and better stuff in your junk yard!  It's a pretty complicated and challenging game, but quite engaging and totally fun throughout!  If you're going to be successful playing this game, you have to think ahead and plan your shots.  When you collect everything you need, you end up building a Time Machine!

Most pinball games only have one or sometimes two video modes. Junk Yard has an astounding SIX video modes!  The most of any pinball machine ever created!  For pinball junkies, there’s a mode called "Time Machine", and you get to see the video modes from previous pinball games ("Mamushka" from Addams Family, "Move Your Care" from Creature from the Black Lagoon, etc…) – its  a really nice touch... It also features FIVE different types of multi-ball play!  Wow!!

Special Features:  Junk Yard is the ONLY game ever created with an astounding SIX completely different video modes! It's really cool to see video modes from previous pinball machines, and will amaze your friends as well!  Junk Yard is also the only game with a suspended pinball (the wrecking ball) that you actually get to smack and hit the car targets during the high points of the swing!  Oddly enough, no jet bumpers were designed for this game. Not that you'll needs them though... there’s plenty of things to keep you busy for a long, long time to come!  Like the toilet bowl at the end of the ramp to shoot the ball into; or the dog named Spike that comes out of his dog house! The artwork is fabulous and the sound effects are simply unbelievable! The game has a fairly open playfield with a lots of long shots… but there's also plenty of toys and gadgets inside to keep you busy for the long haul.  Perfect for kids and adults alike, with no violence or suggestive themes.
