Reasons We Like This Game:  Transporter is probably the wildest, most unusual sci-fi themed pinball machine ever created!  There is nothing that even comes close on the crazy scale for this game.  So crazy that the general public never got it and Bally wound up building only 900 units - a tiny production run that  makes Transporter a pretty rare find.  The best part is that Transporter is a completely original concept and not based on a movie or show of some sort, If you dig the unique, Transporter is the game for you!

Aesthetics aside, Transporter is a pretty cool game!  Inside the cabinet you'll find seven drop targets (2 banks of 3 targets and a single drop target), an out hole, a spinner, two stationary targets, three change lanes, three jet bumpers, a three-ball multi ball, two ramps, transporter bowl and three flippers!  Wow!  Fairly complicated programming for its age, there's quite a bit of surprise and delight factors in this game that will keep you busy for quite some time.

The sound effects and music are also quite advanced for the era with really cool speech, groovy synthesizer sounds and deep analog bass sounds too!

Special Features:  Transporter has one of the biggest toys ever put inside a pinball machine.  The only other machine we can think of that comes close would be Lost in Space by Sega in 1995.  But that's what makes Transporter so unique!  Get the balls inside the lock and you'll be rewarded with either a two or three ball multi-ball!  There's also a groovy bowl ramp that you don't see very often.  They're fun!! Whitewater, Taxi, Junk Yard and Creature from the Black Lagoon have them as well.

Transporter uses all the tricks in the industry to make this a fun game from the seven drop targets (most games only have 3 or 4) to having  3 jet bumpers at the top of the game to allow more action in the ball flow and movement. The ramps in this game are incredibly well done. The upper right flipper shot into the bowl ramp is great. Additionally, the sound programming was quite advanced for this time and Transporter has some really awesome sounds and speech too!
