Reasons We Like This Game:  It came out in 1990, but Roller Games is sooooo 80's looking we had to list it here!  It totally rocks!!  From the big hair chicks to the iconic 80's sponsors (Pepsi, Thermos... remember when Slice came out?)  All this game needs is a hairspray shot and pink rubber for the flippers! (it would look so cool)

Aside from all that, Roller Games is actually an excellent playing game done by the speed master himself Steve Ritchie!  (Star Trek Next Generation, No Fear, High Speed, The Getaway, Black Knight). There's tons of great features such as three drop targets, eight stationary targets, three jet bumpers, two ramps, three in bound lanes, two slingshots, an out hole, a spinner, a magnet, two ball diverters, and three flippers!  Wow!  All combined into a package of speed and smooth ball flow that Steve Ritchie is known for.

Back to the game...  If you remember playing this game then you remember the super cool techno musical score and awesome sound effects!  The colors used within the cabinet are vibrant and bright with a nice dose of 80's nostalgia mixed in (check out the confetti pattern on the plastics and playfield... sweet!)  There's also a healthy dose of flasher bulbs, two multi ball modes and a magnet to keep you busy!  The magnet by the upper right flipper captures the ball, then the machine tells you to flip the ball.  When this happens the ball is positioned perfectly on the flipper bat so that you can make the upper left ramp shot!

Special Features:  Rollergames has several really neat features not often seen in games of the day, let alone all in one machine.  First of all the magnet trick mentioned above is really really cool.  The machine also uses two diverters, one at the top of the game to divert the ball into two different ramp systems, and the second diverter to whisk the ball back to the lower right flipper.  The game also has colored wire form ramps (instead of traditional chrome) eight stationary targets, and three flippers which also isn't that common to see in a game from this period.  If you enjoy fast play, smooth shots, sweet ramps and a perfectly balanced game you'll love Roller Games!
