Reasons We Like This Game:  No other game has the artwork of Iron Maiden. From the simple cabinet artwork to the intricate artwork of the double backglass, Iron Maiden is a low production, amazing fantasy themed pinball machine from the early Stern years!  Additionally, this is one of the only wide body pinball machines Stern ever produced!

Iron Maiden is simply loaded to the hilt with features:  THIRTEEN drop targets, eight stationary targets, an out hole, one spinner, NO jet bumpers (how about that?!), two slingshots, FOUR ramps, two playfields, a roll over target, two inbound lanes for the left and right flippers, and four flippers!  Holy smokes!

   

Special Features:  Iron Maiden has an extremely interesting, if not unusual  playfield layout. If you look closely, it has two inbound lanes for both the left and right flippers. Iron Maiden also has a double backglass giving the artwork a very unique dimensional look. The ball flow is very smooth...  In fact, with this game it's all about ball flow!  It goes on for miles and you never get tired of the insane amount of shots!

   

Did we mention Iron Maiden has a whopping thirteen drop targets?. And while most games have two or three stationary targets, Iron Maiden has eight on top of the thirteen drop targets! There's four ramp shots and four flippers - and to accommodate their size, this game is a rare Stern wide body, meaning it's a full three inches wider than most! Iron Maiden is also an early example of muti ball play with it's three ball multi-ball.

   

So can you spell IRON MAIDEN?  It's tough!  Some targets are timed so they disappear if you don't hit them with the current ball.  Others are timed so that they award different values depending on when you hit them.  Obviously the better you get, the more points you can rack up but be forewarned this game is T-O-U-G-H to master!  That said it's the perfect challenge game amongst friends and will draw you back game after game after game!

   

Unique Special Features: This game is in amazing condition for its age. The playfield and backglass are almost in perfect condition as is the cabinet and backbox. This Iron Maiden is also HUO (home use only) and has never seen commercial use.
