Reasons We Like This Game:  Based on the ever popular Sci-Fi theme, Firepower is am 80's classic!  One of the best selling pinball machines ever with over 17,000 units produced, it's easy to see why this machine had such a strong  following!  First of all, Firepower was created by pinball designer extraordinaire Steve Ritchie who also designed Black Knight, Black Knight 2000, Star Trek The Next Generation, Terminator 2, High Speed, The Getaway and many more best sellers!  For a machine produced in 1980, this game was really fun and REALLY ahead of it's time!  It's the first talking multi ball game ever made!  Steve went on to design Black Knight which is the first talking, multi-playfield game!   Like most games it has two flippers, but that’s where the similarity ends!

There’s two multi ball modes, (2 ball and 3 ball).  Firepower is also loaded with drop targets!  Inside the playfield you'll find ten of them plus three outholes, FOUR jet bumpers, two slingshots, two rollover targets, FOUR in bound lanes, a kickback, one spinner, and much much more!  Wow!!  It's quite a package for 1980, which is why Firepower was such a hit in arcades!  With a nice combination of hard and easy shots, Firepower is fun for both adults and kids alike, with a ton of things to shoot at and loads of easy and complex shots.  Perfect for the family environment, Firepower makes a perfect choice for a first game, or a nice addition for the collector looking for an early 80's classic!

Special Features:  Firepower is the first pinball to have full speech capabilities, musical score, sound effects, and multi-ball all in one package!   It's also one of the first pinball machines to incorporate a kickback feature!  A kickback is a special device that pops the ball back onto the playfield if it drains down the left lane when the light is lit.  (You'll need to hit several targets to light it though!)  Firepower was also incredibly popular because it featured a ruleset that was deeper than anything else crested in it's time!  There's lot's of unique combo shots that keep you coming back game after game, and it doesn't get old quickly!  If you like fast action and a fast moving game you'll love Firepower!  Every title Steve Ritchie has produced is legendary for it's speed and smooth ball flow.  Additionally, this game has four jet bumpers and three outholes!   All in all, it's one super pinball package wrapped up in game that not only looks great, but plays great too!
