Reasons We Like This Game:  Eight Ball Deluxe was one of the first games based on what would prove to be a highly successful game concept for all pinball manufacturers!  More pinball machines followed in Eight Ball's footsteps (Pinball Pool, Eight Ball, Cueball Wizard, Eight Ball Champ, Sharkey’s Shootout, etc) but none were ever as popular or loved as much as Eight Ball Deluxe!

For an early 80's game, Eight Ball Deluxe is really cool!  It has full blown background music, sound effects, full speech capabilities etc. (Which is quite rare for a game of this era.)  Another unique feature about this game, is the sheer number of drop targets!  There's a total of twelve!  In fact, only two other games exist with more.  (Target Alpha and Solar City have 15)  Eight Ball Deluxe has lots of stationary targets (7), three jet bumpers, two inbound lanes, three flippers and one rollover target!  All the makings of a classic pinball machine, and the perfect balance of difficult and easy shots.  It's easy to see why Eight Ball Deluxe was one of America's favorite pinball machines in the early 80's!  Great for adults and kids of all ages, it's a game that's hard to resist playing over and over again!

Special Features:  Eight Ball Deluxe is one of the first pinball machines created with a pool theme.  Widely considered to be one of the best playing single level, single ball games ever made, Eight Ball Deluxe will forever be a coveted collectable... Here’s why.  Before the mid 1980's, games didn’t  have “modes” or complex rule sets.  Why?  Technology had not progressed to the point where this was possible.  Most of the games created in this era were of the “get the highest score" or "hit things around” type of game.  Eight Ball Deluxe was revolutionary in that it was objective based, such as hitting all of the Horseshoe shaped drop targets first, then hit the 8 Ball drop target.  After that, you need to spell DELUXE by hitting the yellow stationary  targets, then go through each of the inbound lanes to get the “A”, “B”, “C”, and “D”!  Wow!  It sounds complex, but that's why it's so darn addicting!  The more you play, the better you get and it's hard to walk away!

Eight Ball Deluxe also featured “stacked” drop targets, where there are drop targets behind drop targets.  Imagine trying to make the same shot 3 or 4 times...  It's tough!  Last but no least, Eight Ball Deluxe has three flippers and wonderful left and right outer loops!  Eight Ball owners seldom give up their machines... see why and grab this one before it disappears!
