Reasons We Like This Game:  The Simpsons Pinball Party is one of the few cartoon based pinball machines ever created, and the ONLY one to have two machines named after it!  (The original Simpsons pinball machine was created by Data East in 1990.)

What makes this machine a standout is the sheer number of unique features it incorporates...  Many of them never seen in a pinball machine before!  Take for instance Homer's TV set inside the playfield.  It's actually a miniature COLOR dot matrix display that will give the player info and funny animation sequences throughout the game!  Speaking of animation, The Simpsons Pinball Party has some of the best we've seen, both in the main dot-matrix display and in the TV.  Kudos to Mark Galvez and Dwight Sullivan for doing such an excellent job!

The Simpsons Pinball Party also makes use of an upper playfield not seen since the Shadow back in 1996 and FIVE flippers!  (We can't remember the last time a game was created with five flippers!)  Like the TV show, the cabinet and backglass artwork features all of the characters from the show...  Designed entirely by none other than the Simpsons creator himself, Matt Groening!  But that's just the beginning...  The Simpsons Pinball Party has several cool ramp shots, three drop targets (Itchy and Scratchy of course), three jet bumpers (shaped like nuclear power plants), ball diverters, a kick-back ball save, a captive ball (with Bart Simpson on his skateboard), stationary targets galore, a spinner (haven't seen one of those in awhile), out holes, and of course FIVE flippers!  But here's the best part...  The Simpsons Pinball Party is a true players delight with a whopping SIXTEEN different modes to complete and EIGHT different multi-ball modes!  WOW!!   Great for adults and kids alike, this machine is destined to be treasured for years and years to come, and is certainly the ultimate Simpsons collectable in it's own right!

Special Features:  The best part about cartoon themed pinball machines is that they always appreciate in value throughout the years.  As it should!  They are always a licensed product, the artwork is fantastic, and they have a timeless quality about them that never fades with time!  What makes The Simpsons Pinball Party an exceptional game is that the engineering, programming, sound, balance, artwork etc. is all top notch!  Most machines are only created with 7 or 8 modes, yet The Simpsons has an incredible SIXTEEN different modes to complete not including the final Wizard mode!

Last but not least, The Simpsons has a brand new feature we've never seen before (besides Homer's TV) that's worth writing home about.  As balls fall into an outhole, the flipper or TV will let the player know what area they should be shooting for next by offering a visual clue or by flipping a flipper.  That's right, the flipper automatically snaps once to let you know where to go next.  It's a welcome addition for a game this complex, and will amaze you when you see it in action!  Fun for the whole family, The Simpsons Pinball Party will make a wonderful addition to your gameroom, and leave friends and neighbors begging you to let them come over more often!

Unique Special Features: This pinball machine is HUO (home use only) and has never seen commercial use.  It also has custom, hand painted nuclear towers, extra figurines and extra toys on the playfield!  Because this pinball machine is from the first run, the cabinet and playfield artwork will not fade, as was a problem with machines created from the 2nd and 3rd run!
