Indiana JonesMfr Date: 2008 – Stern Qty Made: Production Game Designer: John Borg Artwork: John Youssi Reasons We Like This Game: The first Indiana Jones pinball machine made by Williams in 1993 became an instant collectable… and this machine will certainly follow in its footsteps! What’s cool is that this pinball machine encompasses all four Indiana Jones movies! But check it out - a ton of adventure awaits! The pinball machine features FOUR jet bumpers, NINTEEN stationary targets, TWO spinners, three inbound lane changes, a magnet hold, two scoop shots, a ramp, two captive balls and an EIGHT BALL multi-ball!! Indiana Jones has plenty of great shots, super smooth ball play, and is simply loads of fun to play! Did you see all the cool toys inside the cabinet? There’s the holy grail, the stones, and of course the ark of the covenant! The artwork is tasteful and well done and the sound effects and animation are all top notch! Unlike it’s predecessor from Williams, this Indiana Jones pinball machine is fairly simple to understand from the start, but is incredibly difficult to complete or master… Just the way you want a pinball machine! Did we mention the eight ball multi-ball?? It’s tough to reach but boy is it fun! Special Features: This Indiana Jones pinball machine features two types of captive balls. (A captive ball is a pinball that stays inside an assembly.) You strike the captive ball with enough force so that it strikes the stationary target. Well in Indiana Jones there is a second type! The only other time we have seen this type of captive ball assembly was in Guns N’ Roses but it’s quite fun! Basically it’s a captive ball that is inside a large area which lets it bounce around and hopefully hit three stationary targets. The other unique captive ball area actually rises up 1.5” once its been hit to reveal a scoop hole! Shoot the ball inside this hole and you’ll get more bonus points before it’s launched back onto the playfield! Another really cool feature about this pinball machine is the ark multi ball. During this mode, the ark opens up, the balls become magnetized on a small platform, then the platform tips and tilts until finally the magnet is turned off and the balls spill over onto the playfield. It’s a cool trick and pretty amazing to see! Other cool features are the goblet and the stone on top of the jet bumper assemblies; and last but not least is the motorized sword character that spins towards the player on his pedestal when you hit special targets to activate him! This Indiana Jones pinball machine has eight modes to complete and several multi ball game modes too. There’s a 3, 4, even a whopping 8 ball multi ball! Truly timeless, Perfect for all ages, this Indiana Jones pinball machine will become a staple of any collection for generations to come!Price: $ 4395 Call 847-973-2337 to order! |
