Summary & Gameplay:  Consistently rated as one of the top 10 video games of all time, Joust is one of our all time favorites!  In each wave throughout the game, you must defeat all of the enemy knights in a joust.  Every time you defeat an enemy knight he will turn into an egg.  Capture the egg before it hatches or the egg will hatch and the knight will become a more-difficult character. In other words, a "Bounder" will become a "Hunter", and a "Hunter" will become a "Shadow Lord".

Sometimes a pterodactyl will show up; usually if you take too long in the earlier waves.  The only way you can kill the pterodactyl is by ramming him in the mouth to disintegrate him!  If you fly too closely to either of the lava pits, the infamous "Lava Troll" will reach out and grab your mount by the legs and pull you both into his fiery home!  If this happens, flap really hard to escape from his grip and sometimes you can escape.  The Lava Troll plays no favorites though, and will pull your enemies into the lava pit as well!
